Alexis Carvallo
Project Lead, Expedition Las Americas
Born in Venezuela, where he began his passion for 4 Wheeling. He has also competed in Karate around the world which stimulated his need for continuous travel. The magnificent landscape and geography of Venezuela, a land of superlatives (Amazon jungle, Amazon falls, Andes mountain range, prehistoric plateaus, i.e. Roraima, and the largest Caribbean coastline) have inspired him the love for nature and necessity of further exploration and discovery.
After graduating from university with a BS degree in International Business, he moved to the USA. Since then, he has had the great fortune of traveling throughout all the continents, exploring, learning, and sharing with diverse cultures, religions and ethnicities where further developed his skills as an outdoor adventurist, off road driver, co-pilot and photographer. His most recent high profile project build was the AOE JK which competed in the Australian Outback Challenge ’08, driven by female racer, Jeanette Garcia. Alex and his team mate, Roberto Miranda, also covered the event as international press.
