Ben and Beverly Edmonson

Owner, Ben Edmonson Photography

Ben and Beverly Edmonson are a husband and wife duo who have been living and enjoying the "Overlanding" lifestyle for over 10 years now. They are adventurous spirits who love to take the road less traveled while meeting new people and experiencing foreign cultures along the way. Ben, who makes his living as a professional photographer, recently had the honor of being chosen as the expedition photographer for an upcoming television series based on "Overlanding" called "Beyond the Lane." Ben is fortunate to be able to combine two of his favorite passions and actually make a living doing so.

Ben and Beverly recently built a new expedition vehicle based on a 1997 Toyota 80 Series Land Cruiser, A.K.A. "Lucy." Some of "Lucy's" best assets are her Ezi-Awn Roof Top Tent and Awning,  Front Runner Wind Cheetah Rack and her National Luna Dual Battery System. The one thing besides their camera equipment they couldn't do without on the trail is their National Luna Stainless Steel Weekender 50L Split fridge/freeze. The National Luna fridge/freeze has the responsibility of making ice everyday on the trail no matter how hot or bumpy the ride may be.   "Lucy" has proven time and time again that she will get  you there in style, wherever "there" is. The reason Ben and Bev got into "Overlanding" in the first place was to be able to find and camp in remote uninhabited beaches mainly in Mexico and Central America. The other reason they choose to be vehicle based instead of flying is to always bring their K-9 companion which is currently a border collie named Jackson. Jackson  loves to be on the trail and is always anxious to play a game with whoever is willing. Ben and Bev look forward every night to making their camp a welcoming and inviting home to share good food and drink with new found friends.

Whether in a Volkswagon Westfalia, a boat on open seas, or a rooftop tent, the Edmonsons are always in for the journey!
