Construction:

• Aluminum or Stainless Steel Construction: Rust free stainless steel or aluminum, National Luna fridges are metal inside and out. The durability benefits are obvious compared to plastic fridges, but it also gives National Luna fridges better cooling ability.
• High Impact Plastic Lid Corners: To protect you vehicle interior, equipment and yourself from damage while loading or in transit.
• 60mm High Density Insulation: Metal cabinets and liners plus a unique manufacturing process allow foam to be injected under high pressure giving denser, more effective insulation maximizing interior space and reducing overall dimensions.
• Full Surround Cooling Plate: While plastic fridges use a separate metal 'refrigeration plate', National Luna's design means the entire area works as a cooling plate keeping temperatures stable across the whole of the interior, cutting run times and reducing 'pull down' when new food is added. With more cooling area and more effective insulation, National Luna fridges cool faster and stay cold longer with minimum power.

Electronics:

• 12/24Vdc & 120Vac Power Pack: Low battery cut-out, self-diagnostic displays, plus automatic AC/DC switching as standard - when 120v AC is available the controller automatically switches over without having to disconnect the DC lead.
• Electronic Thermostat: The programmable intelligent controller allows you to set the exact temperature you want, displays the current fridge temperature, and gives you the option of manually selecting Turbo mode.
• Turbo Mode: Hooked to the mains, or in a vehicle with the engine running, the intelligent controller automatically runs the compressor in high-speed Turbo mode to maximize cooling efficiency. When the engine is off and the battery is not being charged, the controller automatically switches to the power saving mode to minimize battery drain.
• Low voltage battery cut out: Monitors voltage input levels and will automatically shut off when input voltage reached less than 11.5 volts.
• Danfoss BD35F Compressor: The largest European manufacturer of compressors have created this ultra high efficiency unit with variable speed capability, thereby using very little current draw from the battery.
• Fan Assisted Condenser: To ensure that the units’ condenser is maximizing efficiency.
• Power/Run indicators: Indicator lights to inform you of the current source of electricity.
• Temperature Gauge: A digital temperature gauge informs you of the current internal temperature +/- 2 degrees.

• Lockable Lids: Sturdy stainless steel hinges and latches ensure a tight seal and can keep unwanted entry at bay.
