Stout Construction

The Front Runner Rack is constructed in house from start to finish to guaranty their commitment to quality. Each rack is manufactured to stringent standards, and offer these features.

High Grade Aluminum for light weight and ridged construction

T Slot extruded floor with 8mm hex head bolt slot on top and bottom, for complete flexibility

Heavy duty powder coating for long term resistance to the elements

Lateral floor design to reduce wind noise while in motion

Low profile perimeter to reduce drag and noise

Solid Foundation

The Wind Cheetah Slimline bolts effortlessly to several types of roof mounting systems. The two main options are:

Gutter Mount Legs, design specfically for vehicles with rain gutters. This provided the most secure fastening to a vehicle and provides for the highest weight rating. Each leg is fabricated to contour to the gutter of the verhicle and bend horizontally to mount on the bottom T Slot surface of the rack.

Track mount Legs. For vehicles designed with a gutterless system, Front Runner offers a complete track and leg system to convert a gutterless roof in to a perfect platform for a roof rack. Using the OEM mounting points for the factory cargo rack, Front Runner has designed a track that mounts on the roof and accepts specially designed legs to solidly brdge the gap from roof to rack. These legs are a solid as their gutter mount partners.

Modularity

The Front Runner Wind Cheetah Slimline Rack is constructed of unique "T" slot extrusion floor panels that offer the ability to fasten and unfasten your equipment easily. This gives you endless flexibility and no more drilling your rack full of holes to mount your tent or cases. They come in a multitude of sizes and configurations to fit just about any vehicle.
