The National Luna Intelligent Split Charging Kit is a complete turnkey Dual Battery system, complete with an Intelligent Solenoid, Dual Controller, and all the necessary materials to complete the job.
The Split-charge kit will monitor the state of your batteries and the charging source. Connection is automatic, so you don't have to remember to connect your auxilliary battery whilst driving. The Split-charge controller will automatically isolate the auxilliary battery when the batteries are no longer receiving a charge voltage.
The Split-charge kit consists of: Intelligent solenoid, Dual battery monitor, plug-in monitor cable, 6m each 16mm black and red double insulated cable, in-line power fuses, battery terminals, screws, lugs, cable ties and full installation guide.
This kit has everything you need for a D-I-Y split charge installation. Batteries are not included

dave connors (Wednesday, 31 October 2007) Rating: i have had the national luna dual battery set up in my land cruiser for about 3 months now. i love the product. it was very easy to install even for a guy like me with very little electrical confidence. the instructions were excellent and very straight fwd. the ability to monitor both batteries and jump start myself (not had to do it yet) from inside the cab is a wonderful feature. the customer service i received from equipt was excellent as well.
Roger Moody (Wednesday, 12 December 2007) Rating: Excellent product overall. It is as if it were designed for the 80 series Landcruiser. Very straightforward install. Takes some time to do it right, though it is easy to complete. Two people on the install helped it to go much more quickly.
The in-cab monitor is the highlight of the kit, allowing you to see in real-time where your batteries are charged at, and troubleshoot alternator or charging problems.
