The Colorado River is truly an awesome sight to behold as it meanders through the sandstone cliffs of Southern Utah. It doesn't matter whether you are on the river or driving on the edge of the cliffs high above it, the grandeur is spectacular.
One of my favorite paved vistas is from Dead Horse Point State Park, NorthWest of Moab Utah. Ranchers in Utah's early history used this Mesa to corral wild horses, and consequently many met their fate at the Mesa's edge.
