The excursion to Cedar City was a joint trail run of the Wasatch Cruisers and the Southern Nevada Land Cruisers. We were the guests of Henry Brimmer, and we were in for quite a treat. We found ourselves on a class 4 trail West of town, climbing all sorts of ledges, rocks and things, oh my.

The fun never stopped. While tugging a vehicle off a rock, I separated my fresh transfer case from my vehicle. We were able to patch it together to get out of the trail and on my way home. Roughly 80 miles from home, I am driving along on the freeway and BAM! I thought I had been shot. I roll to a stop, and look to find one of the blades of my fan blade had sheared off and tried to exit through the hood, consequently leaving me dead on the side of the road. At this exact moment it started to rain in my open FJ40. I love adventures. I'd have traded the whole vehicle for an awning at that moment.
