This is one place on Earth that I know God spent a little extra time. Ouray is a wonderful little town that is tucked into the Southwestern corner of Colorado, East of Telluride and North of Durango. This territory became famous around the turn of the last century for it's abundance of mineral wealth. That era left behind a myriad of high elevation trails that traverse passes above 13,000 feet. The views are unlike any I have witnessed before.
My first experience in this wonderland was with a group of great individuals from the Rising Sun Land Cruiser Club, led by the clan of Bruce and Barbara Miller. They have become close friends, and have shared several great adventures together. Thanks for letting me in on your secret.
