Surf & Turf 2006 is a TLCA gathering at Pismo Beach, California. There really isn't anything like camping on the beach with 200 of your closest friends. SNT '06 is a pretty low key gathering of toyota fanatics at the Oceano Dunes State OHV park, located on the beautiful coast of California. It's somewhere between Santa Barbara and Carmel. We spent several days and nights catching up with old friends and making new ones. There was a sand dune poker run, and the longest recorded line of toyotas known. A great cook off and nightly movies.
This trip was a whirl wind tour of SEMA in Las Vegas, down to Los Angeles, up highway 1 to Pismo, on to Santa Cruz, and home to Salt Lake City via the Sierra Mountain Range. We pretty much covered the gambit of terrain on this one, and only 2200 miles. Not bad for a week. I hope to get back to SNT again. What a hoot.
