It had been several years since I had visited the Wind Rivers Mountain Range, located south and east of the Tetons and Jackson Wyoming. Our visit was well deserved respite from the hectic schedule we have been on. Heather and I journeyed to this majestic place with some old friends and their kids. I've know Mike Hassett for more than half my life, and it was great to run away just for the fun of it.
We spent the days we were there hiking the low lying valley lakes, and stared off into the deeper granite spires at higher elevations. Some day, we will venture off into that wilderness under the power of two feet, instead of the luxury that 6 wheels provide.
