The Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) Convention is the largest annual gathering of the automotive industry there is. It is the Super Bowl for all of us car nuts. Everything in the world in the car industry is here. From the big players down to the folks who make the machines that make the parts, all is there for SEMA members to see. I was told that if you walked every isle of each of the convention centers involved, it was over 14 miles long. I think I came close.
But, being the truck nut, I spent the majority of my time wanding the upper floor of the south hall. That is the off road and truck accessory area. Between that, and the open mall out front, I was wandering in a little bit of heaven. Everyone is displaying what will be hot for the next year, and I'm not talking about the models.
